Israel warns of imminent strikes in Tyre and Sidon in south Lebanon

The Israeli military has issued a warning ahead of planned strikes in southern Lebanon, saying it will target sites in the coastal cities of Tyre and Sidon, also known locally as Sour and Saida.

An army spokesperson said Israeli forces would strike what it claimed are Hezbollah positions “in the near future”.

Residents living near the designated locations were urged to move “at least 300 meters away” from the areas expected to be targeted.

The warning comes as Israel continues to expand its military campaign across Lebanon.
