Israeli shell lands in southern Lebanon village

Lebanon's National News Agency says an Israeli shell landed in Kfar Shouba, a village in southern Lebanon's Nabatieh governorate.

The report came after intermittent artillery fire on Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit in the same governorate.

Israel has continued attacks on Lebanon despite a "ceasefire" and ahead of Lebanon-Israel talks slated for Tuesday in Rome.

Since launching its invasion on 2 March, Israeli forces have killed more than 4,300 people and wounded 12,200 others, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
