India summons Iranian deputy ambassador over killing of citizen in Hormuz Strait

An Indian government official indicated that the country summoned Iran's deputy ambassador over the killing of an Indian seafarer in the Strait of Hormuz.

This comes after the UAE defence ministry said that two national vessels were targeted by two Iranian cruise missiles in the southern lane of the key waterway, killing one Indian crew member and wounding eight others.
