Trump reiterates that US attacks brought Iran back to 'the Stone Ages'
US president Donald Trump said that Iran's "power has been largely taken away" following US strikes on the country.
"Now, they have something left, but itโs been largely taken away. As an example, their military had 159 ships; 159 ships are under the sea," he told Newsmax.
Trump also claimed that all of Tehran's "aeroplanes are all gone. Their radars gone, their anti-aircraft is gone, their weapon-making capability is largely gone โ about 84 percent โ and, you know, itโs largely gone".
"So they are a much different country than they were four months ago," he said. "In four months weโve brought them back to the Stone Ages to a large extent."
The US president said that while they have missiles, Iran has "got a little capability".
"Iran was the bully of the Middle East, and they werenโt going to be bullying me."
