Iran condemns US 'barbaric attack' near children's cancer treatment centre

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei condemned the US attack last night near a children's cancer treatment centre in Ahvaz in southwestern Iran, describing it as "barbaric".

In a post on X, Baqaei stated that the attack led to the evacuation of 211 children undergoing cancer treatment.

"This constitutes a cowardly war crime against the most innocent of human beings – children who are bravely fighting for their lives," Baqaei said.
