Israel released 16 more Palestinian detainees into the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom, or Karem Abu Salem, border crossing on Sunday, marking the latest prisoner release amid the ongoing conflict in the enclave, Anadolu reports. Teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) received the released individuals and transferred them to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah for medical checks.
