Israeli forces carried out military operations in the countryside of Syria’s Quneitra province early on Sunday, including setting up a temporary checkpoint, inspecting civilians and shelling areas near al-Hamidiyah, while military helicopters flew overhead, local sources told RT. The sources said an Israeli patrol of five military vehicles set up a temporary checkpoint in the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah in the Quneitra countryside, where troops searched passers-by before leaving. There were no reports of any civilians being detained.
