US Centcom says its blockade redirected seven ships and disabled one

US Central Command (Centcom) announced that it has been continuing its blockade of Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz amid renewed tensions between the US and Iran. 

“As of July 20, the US military has redirected seven commercial vessels and disabled one to prevent the ships from leaving or entering Iranian ports,” Centcom posted on X on Monday.
