Iran’s foreign minister calls actions of French diplomats ‘unacceptable’
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday in a call to his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot that the conduct of two French diplomats in Tehran was “unconventional”, “unprofessional” and “unacceptable”.
This comes after Barrot warned of “consequences” for Iranian security services detaining two of their diplomats on Monday.
