Israel plans 763 new settlement units, threefold expansion of Eli settlement in occupied West Bank

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Saturday that Israel plans to build 763 new settlement units in the Eli settlement south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, a move expected to triple its size in the coming years, Anadolu reports. Smotrich said Israel intends to continue building settlement farms and communities, according to Israel’s Channel 14. He said the housing units would be built and developed in the Eli settlement, which falls under the Binyamin Regional Council in the occupied West Bank.
