Israeli army said it intercepted 92% of over 400 missiles fired by Iran

The Israeli army has said that its air defences have downed 92 percent of some 400 ballistic missiles fired at the country from Iran.

Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani told reporters that "We have had great interception rates".

On Saturday, Iranian missiles struck two towns in southern Israel, wounding around 180 people.
