Turkey says three citizens killed in Qatar helicopter crash
Turkey's defence ministry is reporting that three of its citizens were among seven people killed in a helicopter crash in Qatar.
The ministry said that the victims included a Turkish soldier and two security personnel from the Turkish defence firm Aselsan. It added that another four victims were members of Qatar’s armed forces.
An investigation by the Qatar authorities is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
Qatar's defence ministry named the victims in a statement published earlier today.
