Turkey says three citizens killed in Qatar helicopter crash

Turkey's defence ministry is reporting that three of its citizens were among seven people killed in a helicopter crash in Qatar.

The ministry said that the victims included a Turkish soldier and two security personnel from the Turkish defence ⁠firm Aselsan. It added that another four victims were members of Qatar’s armed forces.

An investigation by the Qatar authorities is currently underway to determine the cause of the crash.
