Palestine has welcomed Ireland’s decision to ban the import of goods from Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, calling on countries and parliaments around the world to adopt similar measures. The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Sunday that it welcomed Ireland’s law banning the import of goods produced in what it described as illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
