The UN said Israeli settlers have carried out more than 1,330 attacks in the occupied West Bank since the start of 2026, causing casualties and damage to Palestinian property. The UN humanitarian affairs office (OCHA) said in a statement on Monday that it was deeply concerned “over the escalating violence across the West Bank in recent days.”     The agency stated that since January, it had “documented more than 1,330 incidents involving Israeli settlers that resulted in casualties, property damage, or both.” According to OCHA, at least eight Palestinians, including a child, and two Israelis have been killed since last Thursday, while others have been injured.
