Spanish President Sánchez: 'World should not pay the consequences of this war'
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Sunday demanded the Strait of Hormuz be opened and called for “the preservation of all energy sites of the Middle East,” without naming Iran or the US.
“We stand at a global tipping point. Further escalation could trigger a long-term energy crisis for all humanity,” Sánchez wrote on X. “The world should not pay the consequences of this war.”
