Israeli strikes target Lebanon's Qasmiyeh Bridge: Reports

Israeli air strikes are pummelling Lebanon's Qasmiyeh Bridge, the country's National News Agency is reporting.

Israel's Kan broadcaster shared footage which appeared to show blasts on and near the bridge.

The reports come following a warning issued by the Israeli military that it would strike the bridge, along with other crossings spanning the Litani River in southern Lebanon.

The bridge is a key route, its destruction would sever swathes of southern Lebanon from the rest of the country.
