Hamas accuses Israel of escalating attacks and massacres in Gaza

Hamas has accused Israel of carrying out massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip, explaining that the Israeli military is exploiting regional tensions to intensify its operations. In a press statement on Monday, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said Israeli forces had carried out attacks that killed civilians in recent hours. According to Qassem, an Israeli strike targeted a group of civilians west of Gaza City shortly before Iftar on Sunday, while artillery shelling at dawn on Monday struck tents sheltering displaced people, killing three women, including a journalist.
