Israeli forces targeted a main electricity transformer in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, on Wednesday evening, cutting power to the town and the neighbouring villages of Abu Falah and Al-Mughayyir. Local sources told Anadolu that Israeli troops entered Turmus Ayya on foot, patrolled several neighbourhoods and streets, and fired live ammunition and tear gas before targeting the main electricity transformer, causing a power outage across the three communities. The sources said specialist crews were working to restore the electricity supply. In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces also raided the village of Burin, south of Nablus, sparking clashes, according to local sources cited by Anadolu.
