The US military has launched strikes on military targets inside Iran after US President Donald Trump warned Tehran against further attacks on American forces. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it had “successfully completed a heavy wave of strikes” against Iran in response to the Iranian missile attacks on US forces. It said the strikes targeted dozens of targets belonging to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including military command centres, missile and drone facilities.
