Israeli forces detonate area in south Lebanon, despite peace talks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced early on Friday that the army detonated what they claimed to be a Hezbollah tunnel system in southern Lebanon.

Earlier, Lebanese local media indicated that several blasts occurred in the town of Hadatha. 

Despite an agreement between Tel Aviv and Beirut, Israel forces have continued to carry out attacks and demolitions in southern Lebanon. Over 4,333 people have been killed as a result since early March, with 12,236 others left wounded.
