Hamas official says group 'made concessions' for sake of Palestinian people

Hamas official Ghazi Hamad said in an interview with Al Jazeera that the group “made concessions for the sake of our Palestinian people”.

“Our primary objective is to protect our people in the Gaza Strip from the ongoing hostile measures and criminal plans pursued by the Israeli occupation,” he added.
