IRGC says three F-35 fighters destroyed at Jordan's Al-Azraq Base

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that its Aerospace Force targeted the US F-35 repair hangar and ramp at Al-Azraq Base in Jordan with multiple ballistic missiles on Sunday morning, IRNA reported.

The IRGC said that the attack, in which it claimed to have destroyed three F-35 fighters and damaged three others, avenged "the American aggression on Qeshm Island".

Iranian authorities said that a couple and their two-year-old child were killed and two other children were injured in an American strike on a building on Qeshm Island on 30 July. The strikes caused widespread damage to property.
