An Israeli researcher has described Qatar as a hostile state and called for Israel to adopt a comprehensive strategy to deal with it. In an article published by the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS), Israeli researcher Ariel Admoni urged Israel to treat Qatar as a “hostile state”, citing what he described as Doha’s media influence across various sectors. Admoni also recommended coordinated political, economic, legal and media measures, including the establishment of a specialised centre to study Qatari influence.
