Israel rejects Gaza ‘roadmap’, raises reservations over international force role: Channel 14

Israel has informed the United States that it rejects a 15-point “roadmap” proposed as part of international efforts to reach an agreement on Gaza, according to Israel’s Channel 14. The channel quoted an Israeli political source as saying that Tel Aviv had told Washington the document, drafted by Egypt and Hamas, was “unacceptable in its current form”. Israel also submitted reservations over several provisions, particularly those affecting the Israeli military’s freedom of operation.
