Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate: 108 attacks, violations against Palestinian journalists in July

The Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate’s Freedoms Committee documented 108 cases of crimes, attacks and violations against Palestinian journalists and media workers in July 2026. These included arrests, beatings, interrogations, detention and being prevented from covering events, as well as targeting journalists with stun grenades and tear gas, attacks by settlers, raids on homes and media offices, and the confiscation and destruction of equipment. In a statement, the Freedoms Committee said it had documented 58 cases of detention and journalists being prevented from carrying out their reporting duties, making these the most frequently recorded violations during the month.
