Air raid sirens sounded on Monday evening in Dimona and nearby areas in the Negev desert, in southern Israel, after a volley of missiles was launched from Iran. The Israeli military said it had detected missiles fired from Iran and that its air defence systems were activated to intercept them. It added that sirens were triggered in Dimona and surrounding areas, including the settlement of Yeruham in the Negev, following what it described as a limited barrage from Iran.
