The League of Arab States has accused Israel of attempting to dismember Lebanon, calling for urgent international action to halt ongoing military operations. Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned what he described as continued Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, including the targeting of infrastructure and bridges, which he said constitutes a clear violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and international law.
