Hamas urges Pakistan to support Palestinian steadfastness and Gaza reconstruction

Hamas has called on Pakistan and the wider Islamic world to strengthen support for Palestinians and accelerate efforts to rebuild the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing war. Dr Khalil al-Hayya, head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza, urged Islamic nations, charitable organisations and religious scholars to take greater responsibility in supporting Palestinian steadfastness. In a recorded address to the general meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan on Sunday, al-Hayya said reconstruction of Gaza was essential to ensure the territory remains “a steadfast fortress for the nation on the path to liberation”.
