Who says Israeli attacks in Lebanon kill nine paramedics, wound seven
The World Health Organization says Israeli attacks on healthcare in southern Lebanon have killed nine paramedics and wounded seven others.
Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said five separate strikes hit medical teams across multiple villages, further straining already fragile services.
He warned that the repeated attacks have disrupted healthcare across the region. Four hospitals and 51 primary healthcare centres have shut down, while several others continue to operate at reduced capacity.
