Israel kills three journalists in Lebanon air strike
An Israeli strike killed three reporters after hitting a car carrying journalists in southern Lebanon on Saturday.
Among those killed was Ali Shoaib, a prominent journalist with Hezbollah-linked Al Manar TV, while Al Mayadeen said its correspondent Fatima Fattouni also died in what it described as a “treacherous” attack.
Israel confirmed killing Shoaib, claiming without evidence that he was a member of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force.
Israel has killed dozens of Palestinian journalists during the genocide in Gaza based on similar unverified accusations.
Israeli bombardment in Lebanon on Saturday has killed at least 18 people, including three journalists and six medics, and wounded 29 across dozens of towns and areas.
