Renewed air strike targets university in Isfahan
An air strike hit the Isfahan University of Technology on Sunday, marking the second attack on the institution this week, a provincial official said.
Akbar Salehi, deputy for security and law enforcement at the Isfahan governorate, told local media the strike damaged several buildings on campus and wounded four staff members.
He confirmed the university had also been targeted in a previous strike on Thursday.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned it could retaliate for attacks on Iranian institutions by targeting American universities in the region.
