Israel says several missile salvos launched from Iran within an hour

Israel said it intercepted a missile launched from Iran toward the southern parts of the country, as multiple attacks were reported within a short span of time.

Israeli media and officials said several missile salvos were launched within about an hour, triggering alerts across affected areas.

Sirens sounded across the Negev region, including in Dimona and Arad, as authorities issued warnings following the detections.

The Israeli military said air defences responded to the threats, and there were no immediate reports of casualties.
