Iran confirms death of Revolutionary Guard commander Tangsiri, statement says

Iran confirmed on Monday the death of Revolutionary Guard Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri following severe injuries, Iranian media reported, based on a statement by the Guard.

Israel announced the killing of Tangsiri, along with senior naval command officials, on 26 March.
