Keir Starmer says UK will not be 'dragged' into Iran war

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has ruled out deploying troops to Iran, saying the UK is "not going to get dragged into this war.”

Starmer said that the UK would still take “defensive action” to protect “British lives, British interests and, of course, our allies in the region” and continue efforts to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
