Survey: Most American Jews oppose unconditional aid to Israel
Just 31% of American Jews support unconditional US aid to Israel, according to a poll commissioned by the advocacy group J Street.
The survey found that 44% believe aid should be conditional on Israel complying with US law, while 26% said the United States should stop providing financial and military assistance altogether.
The poll also found that 60% of respondents strongly or somewhat oppose US military action against Iran, compared with 40% who support it.
The survey, conducted last week among 800 self-identified American Jewish registered voters, has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
