Asian markets fall, oil prices surge amid supply disruptions

Asian stocks fell while oil prices rose as the US-Israeli war on Iran continued to weigh on global markets.

South Koreaโ€™s Kospi dropped 3.82%, while Japanโ€™s Nikkei index also declined, despite a partial recovery. China A50 edged slightly lower.

Oil prices climbed sharply, with US benchmark West Texas Intermediate rising 1.08% to $103.99 a barrel, crossing $100 for the first time since the conflict began.

Brent crude, the international benchmark, rose 2.23% to $109.78, reflecting concerns over supply disruptions.
