Israeli sources have reported a number of soldiers killed and wounded during overnight fighting between Monday and Tuesday with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, as tensions rapidly escalate along the border. The developments come amid a fast-growing military escalation across the frontier, with uncertainty over the true scale of losses and what appears to be a deliberate Israeli blackout. Israel’s military censor has refused to release details and has barred domestic media from reporting on the clashes in southern Lebanon.
