A Palestinian official has said that passing an Israeli law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners amounts to “legalising genocide” against the Palestinian people. Raed Abu Al-Humus, head of Palestinian prisoners’ affairs, said the approval of such a law reflects what he described as the true nature of the occupying state. He added that Palestinians are still living under occupation and continue to pay the price for their struggle to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
