Israeli strike in southern Gaza kills five-year-old

An Israeli air strike in southern Gaza killed a father and his five-year-old son, according to health officials at Nasser hospital, where the bodies were taken.

Israeli fire and strikes have continued almost daily despite a ceasefire reached in October, with nearly 709 Palestinians killed since then, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
