Trump says Iran may take '15 to 20 years' to rebuild

President Donald Trump said Iran could take “15 to 20 years” to rebuild following US-Israeli strikes, claiming the country’s military and infrastructure have been severely degraded.

“We have set them back. It will take 15 to 20 years for them to rebuild what we’ve done to them,” he told reporters.

“They have no navy. They have no military. They have no air force. They have no telecommunications. They have no anti-aircraft systems. They have no leaders,” Trump said.

He added, “If they come to the table, that will be good. But it doesn’t matter if they come to the table or not.”
