Israeli Air Force chases drone for 20 minutes, local media reports

The Israeli Air Force on Wednesday pursued a drone over northern Israel for about 20 minutes, according to local media reports, as sirens sounded across multiple communities.

Alerts were issued in towns including Kiryat Shmona, Kfar Yuval, Margaliot, Kfar Giladi, Manara and Beit Hillel, authorities said.

Israeli media also reported sirens in Safed and dozens of nearby towns following the suspected drone infiltration, with interception efforts underway.

Additional alerts were reported in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas as Israeli forces continued to track the drone.
