Largest Iranian missile salvo since beginning of war fired at central Israel

Iran has fired some 10 ballistic missiles at central Israel - the largest salvo launched since the early days of the war, according to the Israeli military.

The army reported that most of the missiles were intercepted by air defences, although some were allowed to hit open areas, "according to protocol".

Emergency teams said they are responding to reports of impacts, but there are no immediate reports of injuries.

Iran's more recent attacks have involved smaller salvos consisting of around three missiles.
