Gaza death toll rises to 72,289 as victims remain under rubble

Israel’s ongoing genocide has killed at least 72,289 Palestinians and wounded 172,043 since October 7, 2023, Wafa reported on Thursday.

Hospitals received three injured people over the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire on 11 October, Israel has killed 713 people and wounded 1,943, while teams have recovered 756 bodies under the rubble.

Thousands more remain missing, with rescue teams unable to reach due to lack of equipment and denial of access to areas of Gaza behind the so-called yellow line under Israeli control.
