Bangladesh has ordered the closure of educational institutions nationwide as part of emergency steps aimed at conserving fuel and electricity amid a worsening global energy crisis linked to rising tensions involving the US, Israel and Iran, Anadolu reports. The decision applies to both public and private universities, English-medium schools, and coaching centers, which have been instructed to halt academic activities beginning Monday.
