Hezbollah claims rocket attacks as Israel launches strikes in Lebanon

Hezbollah said it “bombed the settlement of Shlomi with missiles as part of the warning it issued to the settlements,” as tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border intensified.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that five rockets were also fired toward the city of Nahariya in the latest salvo, with some intercepted.

The Israeli Home Front Command said sirens sounded in Avivim and Yeroun in the Upper Galilee following rocket fire from Lebanon.

Al Jazeera reported that Israeli warplanes launched a second raid on the town of Sahmar in the Bekaa Valley of eastern Lebanon.
