The Iraqi Resistance Coordination Committee warned on Sunday that it would launch “severe attacks” on US interests and the leadership of Kurdish parties in Iraq’s Kurdistan region, pledging to protect Iran’s borders. The committee is an umbrella group for several armed Shiite factions in Iraq, including Kataib Hezbollah, the Harakat al-Nujaba Movement, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada.
