Iran targets US sites in Gulf, amid UAE interception efforts

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said it launched attacks on "American sites and equipment" on Kuwait's Bubiyan Island as well as Bahrain's Patriot missile systems. 

Iranian strikes on US-Israeli infrastructure across the region have intensified in recent days. 

Earlier, the UAE defence ministry announced that it responded to a total of 79 missiles and drones in the past 24 hours. This includes 23 ballistic missiles and 56 drones.

In its statement on X, the ministry confirmed the death of two Emirati soldiers and a Moroccan contractor. Another 10 civilians were killed since the start of the war, with 217 people left wounded.
