Cement plant struck by US-Israeli assault on Iran

A US-Israeli strike on Saturday hit a cement plant in southern Iran, with local media reporting that operations remain uninterrupted.

"The American-Zionist attack against the cement plant of Bandar Khamir did not leave any casualties," Tasnim news agency reported, quoting Ahmad Nafisi, the deputy governor of the southern Hormozgan province.

Operations at the plant have "continued as normal", he added.

This comes amid an Israeli military statement, which noted the completion of a new wave of air strikes on Iran.
