US-Israeli hit on Iraq-Iran border responsible for killing Iraqi citizen: Report

A US-Israeli strike on Saturday hit a trade terminal at the Iran-Iraq border, killing one Iraqi citizen and wounding two others, according to Iranian media. 

The strike, targeting the Shalamcheh border crossing terminal, occurred at 11am local time in the southwestern Iranian city of Khorramshahr, Mehr news agency reported, citing deputy governor for Khuzestan province Valiollah Hayati. 

The ISNA news agency noted Hayati as saying that the attack killed an Iraqi driver and wounded two Iranian workers.
