Israeli strike hits area near Yater in southern Lebanon

An Israeli air strike hit the outskirts of Yater, a town in southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera correspondents on the ground reported. 

There were no immediate reports of casualties from the attack.

Yater lies close to the border area where Israeli forces have been carrying out strikes since 2 March.
